YOU WILL REPORT DIRECTLY TO COO AND DIRECTOR OF COMPANY!
JOB SUMMARY:
This is a Full Time position only.
Responsible for all retail sales activities within the assigned geographic territory
Develop sales and relationships directly and through others with local Distributors, Key Accounts and retail outlets.
Manage the sales and delivery process generally to retail customers within an assigned Area, and directly manage with key retail outlets as specifically assigned.
Manage Key Accounts and provide leadership amongst borough.
Manage relationships directly and through others with Store and Department Managers in all retail outlets, independent or assigned corporate retail, and distribution personnel at potential local Distributors, whether cash and carry or delivery.
Follows daily account call plan, organized route system, while building positive professional relationships with store personnel.
Insures that product availability, brands, and shelf positioning are consistent with standards planned by Company.
Executes sales programs in outlets as directed by Company.
Positions and maintains Point of Sale items according to Company`s policies.
Identifies additional opportunities in existing accounts for business expansion
Identifies account placement targets and positions for product.
Notes any account changes in competitive products and communicates to the Company.
Responsible for interaction and communication with Company to improve performance.
WILL SPEND 99 PERCENT OF TIME - DEVELOPING AND PLACING PRODUCT AS WELL AS POSITIONING P.O.S. WITH NEW CUSTOMERS IN ASSIGNED SALES TERRITORY
EXPERIENCE:
PROFESSIONAL BACKGROUND:
Selling skills, ability to understand and sell in programs to the retail channel.
Ability to effectively operate in a multi-dimensional, complex environment and interact with all levels in local retail independent and chain organizations.
Fundamental understanding of business planning and marketing plan knowledge.
Ability to cultivate growth using analytical skills while viewing financial data to evaluate the profitability of a new account.
Facility with numbers, numerical information, and basic trade math.
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Word very helpful, but not mandatory.
College graduate not necessary, but must have beverage (or any other convenience store item) selling experience.
YOU MUST HAVE ALL OF THESE OR WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED:
1- LIVE WITHIN NEW YORK CITY`S 5 BOROUGHS, WESTCHESTER OR LONG ISLAND.
2- A DEPENDABLE VEHICLE, REGISTERED AND INSURED
3- A DEPENDABLE CELL PHONE (for time to time calls to and from Company)
4- A CLEAN NYS DRIVERS LICENSE
5- PROFESSIONAL APPEARANCE
6- CONVENIENCE STORE SELLING AND/OR MANAGING EXPERIENCE IN NYC (or very closely related experience)
7- ABILITY TO WORK MONDAY THRU FRIDAY, SOME SATURDAYS, RAIN OR SHINE, DURING OBVIOUS RETAIL SELLING HOURS
8- GREAT, CAN-DO ATTITUDE
